Inaugural porgramme



Inaugural ceremony of the international conference on Environment, Technology and Sustainable Development summit was held in auditorium of our institute. Ceremony began in a traditional manner by lighting a lamp. The ceremony started by Prof.  S G Deshmukh, Director of ABV IIITM welcoming the chief guest who included Padma Bushan Prof. Kirit Shantilal Parikh as well as other professors from various parts of the world who came to express their opinions about .
The Chief Guest Prof.Kirit Shantilal Parikh, Former Member, Planning Commission, Government of India, chairman, Integrated Research and Action for Development (IRADe), New Delhi had shared his view  on importance of Bio-gas as a part of Environment Technology and Sustainable Development.
Prof. Richard York, Professor of Sociology and Environmental studies, University of Oregon spoke about challenges of reducing fossil fuel use and told about killing of dolphins are increasing day by day  due to deep required for making cosmetic materials instead of using artificial material like wax which are now discovered.
Finally inauguration ceremony ends with the vote of thanks of Dr. Pradip Swarnkar.
