UTHAAN voice

                            Regards

The ETSD was like a “Bouquet of intellectuals” from different parts of the globe. Just like each flower has its own essence in the same way the intellects had a variety of viewpoints but their final aim was a unified one which was to lay emphasis on the concept of sustainable development as the emerging tool for the future world.
UTHAAN feels Privilege in getting a golden opportunity of spending time among such enlighten minds, interacting with them and getting to know a bit  from their vast expanse of knowledge. Also the kind of co-operation that we got from delegates was appreciable and pleased us a lot. Noteworthy that Padma Bushan professor Kirit shantilal Parith was highly pleased by such initiatives being carried out in the premises giving the students the exposure to the current world affairs.

Gliding Their Way To Excellence

“Champions do not become champions when they win the event, but in the hours, weeks, months and years they spend preparing for it, the victorious performance itself is merely the demonstration of their championship”.

To enhance the spirit of sportsmanship and to cultivate the idea of taking play seriously, ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior celebrated the annual intra college sports fest- URJA from January 9, 2014 to January 12, 2014 .The meet was declared open by the faculty co-ordinator Dr. Anurag Srivastava followed by an oath taking ceremony by the four squads namely Red Rebels, White Sabbaths, Blue Knights and Green Nile.

The various sports events that were a part of the fest were- basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, lawn tennis, football, squash and the list continues. Games like chess, carom and snooker also found a place in the extravaganza.

The charisma of the event persuaded the students to disclose their latent potential and their toil to glory. Students participated in the event whole-heartedly keeping up the oath wherein they had pledged to perform “to the best of their abilities”.  The enthusiastic players won laurels both for themselves and their teams.

Sports directly and definitely renders invaluable help in developing one’s personality. And, at this athletic meet, as every year, students showed a true passion towards sports and pledged to accomplish something individually and as a team towards victory!
